Perhaps you’ve noticed that more vape companies are selling CBD products – everything from vape juices to pet treats.
CBD is a natural, legal compound extracted from the hemp plant. It is known to alleviate many ailments.
Although hemp is part of the cannabis species, CBD contains less than .03% THC, so it cannot get you high! Many products have zero THC. CBD does not contain any nicotine.
I think the growing popularity of CBD is great, in fact, I’ve been using CBD e-juices and gummies for over a year now.
I do find it ironic; however, that CBD may be great for calming the nerves, but you can get downright exasperated just trying to figure out how much you need to take.
That’s because dosages and strengths per serving are rarely listed on the labels or on the product’s online webpage.
I decided to put together a list of quality CBD products that give you the recommended dosages. What is a “quality” CBD product? It means the manufacturer uses a third-party lab to test their products for purity and ingredient percentages. The best companies include links to those reports on their websites.

Why Don’t We See Dosages for Most CBD Products?
Although the FDA as evaluated hemp derived CBD as GRAS (generally recognized as safe), products have not been fully regulated.
To date, CBD product sellers are not required to list dosages. They do recommend that you consult with your doctor before taking a CBD product. The main reason for this is because any supplement, (even vitamins) may interact with medications you are taking.
Also, everybody’s body size and biochemistry is different. Some people will need a lower dose of CBD, others will need a higher dose to receive the same therapeutic effects.
For those who choose not to visit their health care practitioner, CBD sellers recommend you start out with the lowest potency.
That may sound pretty straightforward, but even if you buy your CBD product in the lowest strength, you still don’t know how many drops to use, or how many puffs to take, or how long you can expect to wait before you feel the effects of the CBD.
Most people want a more detailed guideline on dosages.

Here is a List of the Highest Rated CBD Products, Listed by Category. The Packaging or Product Page Lists Suggested Dosages.

CBD Oils and Tinctures
CBD Oils and Tinctures are made to be taken orally, sublingually (under the tongue) or mixed with drinks.
They are highly concentrated and are very potent. That’s why it’s helpful to know the recommended dose.
1 – CBD Oil Tincture by CBD Genesis
Made to be taken under the tongue, this tincture oil is CBD Genesis’s most concentrated formula. You can choose a 550mg, 1000mg or 5000mg CBD concentration.
They recommend you start with 1-3 drops.
I’ve been using this product to accelerate healing, and it really works for me.

2 – KOI CBD Tincture is all-natural and 100% vegan.
A well-respected name in the industry, all products are rigorously tested and responsibly sourced. You can take drops of this product under your tongue, or you can vape it. Choose from 12 different flavors and 4 CBD strengths.

CBD Capsules
1 – CBD Capsules are an easy way to take your daily dose of CBD. They’re also great for travel as you don’t have to worry about carrying any extra “liquid” baggage.
The Capsules from CBD Genesis are a full spectrum CBD product, so they have the highest potency available in each pill. They are PG free and 100% organic.
There is no measuring, and each pill has 75mg per capsule. You get 20 capsules per bottle.

CBD Edibles
Taking your daily dose of CBD was never easier or more enjoyable. Check out this product.
1 – Social CB Gummies are yummy. They come in a variety of flavors – Lemon, Peach Mango, and Red Raspberry. Each piece contains 25mg CBD, and they are very effective. It’s hard to resist taking two at a time, and I admit, I’m guilty of doing just that. Relief came quickly and without consequence, except for the fact that now I’ll have to buy my next jar a lot sooner.

2 – FTP – CBD Genesis HHC Gummy Worms

These yummy gummies come in a pack of 20 or 40. Each gummy worm has 25 mg of CB per worm. The CBD is released slowly into your system, so it will work for several hours. These gummies have been lab tested for maximum efficiency. CBD Genesis recommends that you start off by taking just 1, and waiting 45 minutes to see how you feel. If you need more, you can take another, until you are satisfied.
Can You Take Too Much CBD?
CBD is safe to use and there has never been any report of toxicity, or an overdose.
Keep in mind; however, that higher strengths of CBD are more expensive than lower ones, so it can be more economical to start out with a 150mg bottle of CBD vape juice instead of a 600mg strength.
Also, many people find that it doesn’t take a lot to feel the positive effects of CBD.
Are There Any General CBD Dosage Recommendations?
You’ll find suggested doses for CBD all over the web. That said, the Mayo Clinic has a long list of CBD dosages for many ailments. For example, they say you can take 2.5-20mg CBD orally for chronic pain, and 40mg-160mg CBD orally for anxiety and sleep disorders.
Remember, your body size and biochemistry will determine the effectiveness of each dose.
